You can walk to all of Kanab's restaurants and shops directly from our home but you will need a vehicle to explore the parks and other attractions. This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Just minutes away from downtown Kanab, this home makes accessing local restaurants, shops, and grocery stores convenient and easy!

Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.

Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.

House is fully stocked and has a large fenced-in backyard.  My husband and I traveled with our two small dogs and it was ideal for them.  I was surprised that the house has a finished basement that functions as an additional living room although we didn't use it.  Our host was great and very responsive to any issues we encountered.  We spent three nights here but would have loved an additional day or two to see more of the area other than Zion NP and  Bryce Canyon NP.  We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the home to small families and people traveling with their pets." (10/5)
