Mount Carmel is in the "Grand Circle" area, centrally located among Zion National Park (13 miles), Bryce Canyon National Park (59 miles), the Grand Canyon (North Rim - 98 miles). You can also visit Pipe Springs National Monument (38 miles), the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (33 miles), Vermilion Cliffs National Monument (61 miles), Coral Pink Sand Dunes (15 miles), Kodachrome Basin (76 miles), Lake Powell/Glen Canyon Recreation Area (90 miles), the "Wave"/Paria Wilderness (66 miles), Horseshoe Bend (94 miles), Cedar Breaks National Monument (48 miles) and so much more. We have been a family operation for nearly 40 years. We also live and work on a farm and ranch near our motel that has been in the family for 4 generations. Kanab is known as the "Hub of the Parks', and is the gateway to three national parks, Zion, Bryce Canyon and the Grand Canyon North Rim. Enjoy your dream vacation in Kanab, also known as "Little Hollywood"! Dozens of Western movies were made here and every August, we have Western Legends, where you can meet some of your favorite old stars. It also features the High Noon Parade (with Longhorn cattle), Country Battle USA (great music!), Cowboy Poetry, a terrific vendor fair, a rodeo, and much more - not to mention yummy food.
