Shado is a thoughtful and responsive host whose place is sparkling clean, well- designed and peaceful. The seating area behind the unit is my favorite spot as it is a wonderful place to relax, read a book, or eat a meal. The location is close to downtown Kanab and its excellent restaurants and fun shops. (If you love burgers, don’t miss Only in Kanab. The burgers and fries are phenomenally good: made to order and worth the wait.)

Truly one of the best Airbnbs we have ever stayed in. Everything was perfect — a beautiful space, an amazing kitchen, and everything was squeaky clean. The host was incredibly responsive, and the home had everything we needed to feel comfortable right away. We felt right at home and would absolutely love to come back.

I would never stay with Micah or Zion stays again. My safety and the safety of my family was put at risk. An undisclosed animal enclosure with a large what appeared to be wild cat was not even 100 ft from the property along with a trailer that appeared to be lived in. When we asked about this Micah had no idea about an animal enclosure or trailer, then gave us multiple different answers. Eventually we were told that they were “regular cats” and that the real owner of property comes everyday to feed them and take care of them. This was not disclosed in any part of the description of the Airbnb and was listed as a private stay. Due to the safety risk of being in an unknown location we had to leave for the safety of my 1 year old daughter. Upon leaving due to information that was not disclosed in the listing, we asked our host Micah for a refund, Micah never responded to us, and his team at Zion stays refused to take accountability and called law enforcement in an attempt to silence us.

We liked the property. Well maintained, convenient and intuitive design. Felt like home, old but very appealing looks. Everything thoughtfully placed in and around the house. Very big driveway and plenty of parking space. The price was slightly above our expectations. We loved the piano. Would like to visit again.

Escalante is so cool! Honestly this was a 24 hr stop during our trip but it deserves so much more than that! Highly recommend: Escalante Outfitters and Pizza (their sourdough crust is outstanding) Escalante Mercantile (organic little grocery store) Devils Garden (very fun natural playscape for kids) Escalante State Park (rented kayaks and swam). The tiny house felt more spacious than we expected, and had all things we needed to make our stay comfortable. The loft was really fun for our kids. We would be happy to return!

Beautiful tiny home that was perfect for three adults. It had everything we needed from the ice cold air conditioning to the comfortable beds and pillows to the well stocked kitchen. And the back deck is so comfortable and peaceful. Location is great—close to town yet very quiet. Ben was very proactive and responsive in communicating with us.
